Is HonorGuard better than my manufacturer warranty?
HonorGuard is in addition to, not instead of, your manufacturer material warranty. Manufacturers cover the shingle itself — HonorGuard covers the installation workmanship. You get both, and they work together.
What happens to my warranty if RoofOps goes away?
We're not going anywhere — but on every install, the manufacturer warranty (Atlas Signature Select, DaVinci, or CertainTeed depending on your system) is backed directly by the manufacturer through our certifications, so the material coverage continues even in the unlikely event we're not around.
Does the extended warranty really add resale value?
Yes. Documented workmanship warranty coverage is a verifiable asset at resale. Home inspectors and buyers know what a longer warranty means — and paired with the manufacturer's product coverage, it's one of the few items on a roof that can be monetized at sale.
