The HonorGuard Warranty System.
A roof is a 25+ year promise. Your warranty should be too. HonorGuard delivers the Lehigh Valley's most comprehensive workmanship coverage — backed by CertainTeed credentials less than 1% of roofers hold.
Your Roof Fails Because of Installation — Not Material.
The manufacturer covers the shingle. Installation is a separate matter — and it's the biggest cause of roof failure. A 50-year manufacturer warranty means nothing if the flashing was installed wrong. A contractor's 1-year workmanship warranty means nothing if they're out of business in 18 months.
HonorGuard solves both problems.

What's Covered. What's Not.
- Shingle fastening and installation pattern
- Flashing installation (chimney, walls, valleys, penetrations)
- Underlayment and ice & water shield application
- Ventilation installation and balance
- Starter course and ridge cap installation
- Eaves, rakes, and drip edge work
- Storm damage (that's your homeowners insurance)
- Acts of God beyond manufacturer wind-speed limits
- Damage from third-party work (solar, HVAC, satellite installs)
- Normal wear past warranty term
Coordinated with manufacturer coverage: material defects, wind warranty, algae resistance, color retention — all continue to run per the manufacturer's schedule alongside your HonorGuard workmanship coverage.
No Paperwork. No Claim Tag Hunting.
The day your install is complete, your warranty is registered in our system, in CertainTeed's system, and in your Digital Roof File — automatically. Transfer at sale is a single email. Filing a claim is a single phone call.
HonorGuard Questions Answered.
Straight answers on coverage, transfers, claims, and upgrade options.
Is HonorGuard better than my manufacturer warranty?
HonorGuard is in addition to, not instead of, your manufacturer material warranty. Manufacturers cover the shingle itself — HonorGuard covers the installation workmanship. You get both, and they work together.
What happens to my warranty if RoofOps goes away?
We're not going anywhere — but the Sentinel tier is backed directly by CertainTeed through our ShingleMaster certification, so even in the unlikely event we're not around, the coverage transfers to CertainTeed's national installer network.
Does the transferable warranty really add resale value?
Yes. Documented, transferable 25-year warranty coverage is a verifiable asset at resale. Home inspectors and buyers know what a transferable warranty means — and it's one of the few items on a roof that can be monetized at sale.
Can I upgrade to Sentinel after my install?
No. Sentinel requires specific underlayment, ventilation, starter strip, and ridge cap components installed during the original project. Choosing your warranty tier at the estimate stage matters — we walk through the options transparently before any contract is signed.
How do I file a warranty claim?
One phone call. We handle the rest. The warranty is registered in our system, in CertainTeed's system, and in your Digital Roof File — you don't need to produce paperwork to file. Just call (835) 248-0004.
