Covers defects in roofing materials — shingles, underlayment, ridge caps, and other components. CertainTeed stands behind their products with coverage ranging from 25 years to Lifetime depending on the shingle line.

Lifetime warranty is available to individual homeowners. For non-residential properties, the warranty period is limited to 40-50 years depending on the shingle line. After the SureStart period ends, coverage continues for shingles only at a prorated rate.

To qualify for SureStart PLUS extended warranties, your roof must be installed as a CertainTeed Integrity Roof System — meaning multiple CertainTeed components are used together as a complete system, not just the shingles.
RoofOps installs complete Integrity Roof Systems as our standard practice. We use CertainTeed shingles, underlayment, starter strips, ridge caps, and ventilation products together to ensure you qualify for the highest level of warranty protection available to us.
